The best franchises are simple business models, with franchisees given the necessary support to develop their potential and put their mark on the local business.
At Sussex Farmhouse Meals we have put major investment into developing our processes, software and marketing. At launch your orders are processed centrally by Sussex Farmhouse Meals and you will download these via our specifically commissioned web based software system.
We will deliver stock to you on a two week basis. You will probably have two or three chest freezers to hold enough stock and are likely to be based at home.
You will then dedicate two or three days to deliveries and the rest of your time will be devoted to marketing and administration.
As your customer base builds you will need to contact customers regularly to take their orders. Their payment is usually made on delivery by cash or cheque. So the business is cash rich from day one.
Year one is likely to be one person one van. But as your client base builds you may employ an extra driver, take onpremises, have your own call centre and hold and deliver your own stock.
By the end of the first year you may be delivering up to 500 meals a week. Gradually you will move from a hands on roll up to top management!
You will be given comprehensive training and support to help set up and run your franchise efficiently from day one. You will spend time at our head office learning the principles of the business and meet other franchisees to learn directly from their experiences. Our training programme will cover:
You will of course be provided with our full Franchise Operations Manual prior to launch. It covers all you will need to know to run your franchise.
